Class Goal

• To provide the knowledge and skills necessary for students applying for a North Carolina Concealed Carry Handgun Permit, in accordance with the requirements of the North Carolina Administrative Code – and to go beyond the bare minimum with practical, hands‑on training.

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

• Explain the legal requirements to obtain and maintain a NC Concealed Carry Handgun Permit
• Understand where you can and cannot carry, and the legal implications of carrying concealed in North Carolina
• Apply the four universal firearm safety rules at all times
• Safely load, unload, and handle your handgun on and off the range
• Demonstrate proper grip, stance, sight alignment, and trigger control
• Draw from a holster safely and efficiently using a clear, repeatable process
• Make accurate hits at realistic self‑defense distances
• Make better decisions about when you may – and may not – legally use deadly force
• Know what to do after a defensive incident (calling 911, interacting with law enforcement, and immediate safety considerations)

How This Class Is Different

• Many classes simply meet the state minimums. At Full Spectrum Tactical, we:
• Provide more live‑fire and structured drills than a typical NC CCH class
• Focus on real concealed carry scenarios, not just shooting a qualification course
• Use a crawl / walk / run approach so new shooters are not overwhelmed and experienced shooters are still challenged
• Keep class sizes reasonable so every student gets individual coaching

You will leave with a clear practice plan you can use on your own range time – not just a memory of what you did in class.

Class Details

• Location: Pittsboro, NC area (exact range details provided upon registration)
• Length: Full‑day course (classroom plus live‑fire range time)
• Format: Classroom instruction, practical exercises, and live‑fire qualification
• Equipment: Handgun, holster, eye and ear protection, and ammunition (equipment loans/rentals may be available by prior arrangement)

Prerequisites: Basic familiarity with safe gun handling is helpful but not required – new shooters are welcome
